Lifestyle Options
Your Lifestyle governs how you live, what you eat, and how you have fun. If you go beyond what you’ve paid for at the beginning of the month, your GM may charge you for the extra costs. If you fail to pay for your Lifestyle by the start of the month, you have one week to make the payment. If not, you begin making daily Death Saves until payment is made. Below are the food-based lifestyle tiers.
Kibble
Cost: 100eb/month
What it entails:
You eat horrible food that you probably wouldn’t feed to a dog you liked. It’s the bare minimum of nutrition. The only thing distinguishing some brands from literal dog food is a squirt of cheeseburger flavoring. Entertainment is limited to a single movie or braindance per month. This is pure survival living with no frills or comfort.
Generic Prepak
Cost: 300eb/month
What it entails:
A significant step up from kibble. You eat decent, if artificial, meals that at least taste like food. On weekends, you can afford to either go out to a good bar and party or enjoy a sit-down meal at a decent restaurant. It's enough to feel human again, with just a touch of comfort and leisure in your week.
Good Prepak
Cost: 600eb/month
What it entails:
Your food is comparable to what’s served in most mid-range restaurants. It’s still artificial, but engineered to closely match the taste and texture of real food. You can regularly enjoy excellent bars and restaurants. Once per month, you can afford a live concert or attend a major sporting event. You’re living the kind of life that lets you relax on your terms.
Fresh Food
Cost: 1500eb/month
What it entails:
You eat actual, real food—not printed, processed, or chemically flavored approximations. You can afford executive bars and elite entertainment. Once a month, if you're too far from home or just tired, you can get a hotel room without worrying about the bill. You can also dine at a world-class restaurant once a month. This is high-end, clean living, suitable for minor Execs or successful Edgerunners.
Housing:
Living on the Street
Rent: N/A
Buying Outright: N/A
What it entails:
You sleep wherever you can: under bridges, in alleys, behind dumpsters. You have no access to electricity, running water, or security. Every night you sleep without shelter, you must pass a DV15 Endurance Check or wake up fatigued (giving you -2 to all actions for the day). You can’t store possessions beyond what you carry. You’re vulnerable, exposed, and constantly under threat.
Living in a Vehicle on the Street
Rent: N/A
Buying Outright: N/A (but requires an enclosed vehicle)
What it entails:
You sleep in a vehicle with full enclosure. You’ll have electricity, but water is only available if your vehicle is designed for it. Unless you have a bed setup, you’ll still need to pass a DV15 Endurance Check to avoid fatigue. Security is minimal unless your vehicle has bulletproof windows and security upgrades. You’re forbidden from sleeping in Executive, Corporate, or even Moderate Zones. You’ll either sleep in the Outskirts or in the dangerous Combat Zones. It’s slightly safer than the streets, but not by much.
Cube Hotel
Rent: 500eb/month
Buying Outright: N/A
What it entails:
A cube hotel is a small, secure, windowless cell in a shared facility. You can touch both walls if you stretch your arms. The room contains fold-out furniture, a small television, and space for only a backpack and a few personal items. Common areas (shared bathrooms, showers, and water access) are often controlled by gangs, making them dangerous. Most tenants keep water bottles to avoid entering them. Sleeping with more than one person results in fatigue. Cube hotels are located in zones of all threat levels, but always feel cramped and impersonal.
Cargo Container
Rent: 1000eb/month
Buying Outright: 15,000eb
What it entails:
Converted shipping containers offer a step above cube hotels. You get a bed, desk, fridge, microwave, sink, electricity, and lockable security. Shared restroom and laundry facilities are nearby. If located in the Combat Zone, the danger begins the second you step outside. In the Outskirts, life is much safer. Your vehicle will be parked on the street and may be subject to break-ins unless you live in the safer zones.
Studio Apartment
Rent: 1500eb/month
Buying Outright: 25,000eb
What it entails:
The first truly private space in the housing hierarchy. Studio apartments include a bed, private bathroom with shower, small kitchen with oven and fridge, and a tiny living room. You can decorate and live on your terms. Laundry is shared with neighbors, but you have a protected parking space, meaning your vehicle is safe. Located in Corporate, Moderate, or Combat Threat Zones.
Two-Bedroom Apartment
Rent: 2500eb/month
Buying Outright: 35,000eb
What it entails:
A fully functional and comfortable home for two people. Two bedrooms, full kitchen, one shared bathroom, a living room large enough for a proper couch, and in-unit laundry. Comes with two protected parking spaces. This is comfortable, stable urban living. Found in Corporate, Moderate, or Combat Zones.
Corporate Conapt
Rent: Not for rent (provided by Corps only)
Buying Outright: N/A
What it entails:
High-end corporate housing—luxurious, secure, and exclusive. Includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, dining room, large living room, and a balcony. Laundry is in-unit. Surveillance by the sponsoring corporation is standard, and tampering with their equipment may result in fines (50eb), though Execs often exploit quirks like laundry machine noise to block audio. Two protected parking spaces are included.
Upscale Conapt
Rent: 7500eb/month
Buying Outright: 85,000eb
What it entails:
A luxurious two-floor apartment with three bedrooms, three bathrooms (including a master suite), two living rooms, full kitchen, dining room, and a balcony with a city view. Comes with three protected parking spaces, including rooftop access for air vehicles. Perfect for high-tier professionals or upper-echelon mercs. Found in Corporate and Moderate Zones.
Luxury Penthouse
Rent: 15,000eb/month
Buying Outright: 500,000eb
What it entails:
Top-of-the-line urban luxury, located atop skyscrapers in Corporate Zones. The first floor features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, entertainment and facilities rooms, full kitchen, and an extravagant dining area. The second floor holds the master bedroom and bath. The rooftop includes a private helipad, infinity pool, lounge, and BBQ area. You receive four protected parking spots with private elevator access and complimentary maid service.
Corporate Beaverville House
Rent: Not for rent (Corp-provided)
Buying Outright: 200,000eb
What it entails:
Located in the highly exclusive Executive Zone, these suburban homes are patrolled by Lazarus Corp security. Ownership includes four security badges granting access to bullet trains and immunity from harassment. The house includes two floors, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, sunken living room, full kitchen, patio, synthetic lawn, and access to a private country club—if invited. Laundry, maid service, and HOA landscaping are included. The country club offers elite sports, gyms, pools, saunas, business lounges, and more.
Corporate Beaverville McMansion
Rent: Not for rent (Corp-provided)
Buying Outright: 500,000eb
What it entails:
A sprawling estate in the heart of Beaverville. Includes three floors, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a master suite, three living rooms, basement bar, personal gym, poolside patio, and helipad. A four-car garage is included, along with six Beaverville security badges. Real grass, seasonal landscaping by HOA staff, and premium access to Beaverville’s country club (complete with all elite amenities) are standard. This is more than just living—it’s a declaration of power and status.
Jobs/Hustles
General Job Types and Pay:
Jobs are categorized by difficulty based on expected resistance and danger level. Pay roughly corresponds to the risk level.
Easy Job: Little to no armed resistance expected. Example: Protecting a VIP from possible threats.
Pay: 500 eurobucks (eb) per person
Typical Job: Armed resistance expected, but can be prepared for. Example: Stealing a diamond with guards changing patrols every four hours.
Pay: 1,000 eb per person
Dangerous Job: Overwhelming armed resistance. Heavy preparation needed or death likely. Example: Sneak into a military facility, blow up the armory, and escape.
Pay: 2,000 eb per person
Hustles by Role:
Hustling occurs during downtime (often a free week) and income depends on Role, Role Ability Rank, and a 1d6 roll outcome.
