Born March 29th in the year 2036, Carla was born in the Combat Zone now known as “Dog Town”. Growing up in the zone, Carla was, for the most part, on her own, never knowing fully when her next meal would come or when her next bit of shelter would be given to her.   Around the age of 7, her parents disappeared from Night City altogether, leaving her a bit of water and food; the rest was up to Carla herself. Scavenging, stealing, and getting the better of people. Carla had to learn to understand people, whether it was to better her odds of getting food or water.   While she did these things, it wasn't ever easy or as safe as it possibly could be; one of these events happened to be when she crossed the wrong group. A bunch of scavs located outside the zone managed to catch Carla when she was stealing a bit of food from them. Though she thought that this would be the end for her though whether out of pure luck or unfortunate choosing on the scav’s part they decided to pick up some corpo brats kid and next thing you know a merc comes blazing through and saving them, with scavs taken care of all the others that were still alive escaped as well.   From here on, Carla decided she wanted to become a merc herself, trying to become stronger and stronger, becoming skilled with a gun and any other weapon she could. During this point, a girl from Watson ran from her folks and found herself in Dog Town, running into a nearby building. She found Carla resting, scared and worried for her safety. The girl tried fighting Carla, but she didn't have the strength for it. Taking a bit of pity on tgirlgir, Carla gave up a bit of her rations and water to the girl, tired and needing any he, she accepted the food from Carla.   The two’s relationship was very rocky at first, barely speaking to each other. It finally took a frustrated Carla to ask the girl her name, and she learned that her name was Raine, finding common ground there, Carla introduced who she was. From this point, the two’s relationship started to get a bit better and less rocky. Talking more and more to one another and Carla learned of Raine’s love for being a tech, fiddling with different mechanical instruments, tuning weapons, and broken cyberware.   As the two got closer and closer, Carla started to gain feelings for the girl and wanted to surprise Raine, one night, when the sky finally dimmed and the moonlight shined brightly, and Raine slept, Carla decided to put her plan into action. Leaving the run-down building, they stayed in for shelter. Carla began exploring, looking through rubble and dead bodies searching for anyone that could have what she was looking for, Finally, she was drawn to the sound of a Militech av moving closer and closer to the sound. She spotted a body surrounded by Militech agents.   Surveying the scene she finally saw a tech arm on the dead sucker she had to find a way to get to that body and more importantly rip off that arm. Finding a glass bottle, she threw it in a direction to take eyes off the body, quickly rushing in to get to the body, she was lucky they were staying distracted, but her luck would not last forever. Trying desperately, she managed to rip it off, and before she could celebrate, she knew her luck was out. Click   “Fuck…” is all she could think as the militech guy pointed the gun at her head putting her hands up the guy began shouting the usual orders trying to look for any opportunity to run as she looked around she saw her only chance, an incendiary grenade on the nearest solider, as adrenaline began rushing through her body it wasnt long before she finally made the gonk move.   As quickly as she reached over. **Click** **bang** her shoulder was fucked but not fucked enough as she grabbed the pin and with a fiery blast it served as a good opening even though injured she ran as quick as she could adreniline and fight or flight working overtime to get her out of there and as far away from the militech operators. Their shouting was far behind her, and thankfully, she got back to their shelter.   Breathing heavily and feeling weak, she somehow managed to get into their little hideaway, waking up Raine, shaking her awake softly with a smile on her face, she showed Raine the somehow minimally damaged tech hand on her. Raine was worried for her friend, not sure if she wanted to know how Carla not only got injured the way she did but also had her side burned to hell.   From this point on, Carla felt she earned the nickname “Cinder,” choosing to mainly go by that name from that point forward. This would also serve as a catalyst and make Carla realize she wasn't built for the solo life, but she had a knack for getting things, so she aimed for that instead. Looking into becoming a fixer instead. Getting knowledge on people, things on the market, hell, things that haven't even touched market shelves.   Carla was always better at finding things so why not make a quick enny doing it for others, from here on she began to try and make a name for herself but that was easier said than done, as most of the time people came to her for small time gigs, gonks losing something to auction, or some dumb bimbo wanted to get a shady Mr. Stud on the black market for her other man.   Carla managed to make a small name within the zone, all the while Raine stood right by her side.   During this time, Carla, now going by the name “Cinder” due to her burn marks, had grown a small reputation as a fixer who takes in outcasts. From Raine, a woman who had on-and-off again feelings for, and the second member of their The eventual last member of their little crew due to her age was a young girl named Eden Wright a kid born and raised in Westbrook, her mother and father? Two solo’s that wanted to be a legend taking odd jobs here and there they felt she was destined for greatness but after pissing off a head honcho of the Tyger Claw they knew it was a matter of time before they were found and taken out of the picture, afraid that the claw’s would find their only daughter they needed to find her a way out of westbrook and fast, making their way to a mutual contact in pacifica a Voodoboy that her parents had helped a few times knew the best place for their darling daughter to hide was D-town. Calling up Carla, a meeting was set up between the two groups for Edens' safe passage; Eden’s mother and father had to do a few favours for Carla as payment for their Daughters safety. These favours were simple supply runs to bring to her and Raine, unfortunately their luck did eventually run out as during one of these runs the Tyger Claw’s did find Edens parents and it wasnt long before they were taken care of.   Once Carla and Raine found out the news they decided it was best to break the news quickly to Eden and with nowhere for the girl to go they offered her a chance to stay with them. Raine learned from both Raine and Carla tricks of the biz, from how to upgrade any shitty gun they could find to Carla helping her use her head instead of brawn to get herself out of a bad sitch.   The three of them became a little odd family which caused Carla and Raine to upgrade fome a small little halfsized container that suited the two of them, to something bigger and just the three of theirs. After getting the larger container they wasted no time in upgrading it with things like a bathroom, a kitchen and two rooms one for Eden and one that Carla and Raine would have to share.   By the time Eden reached the age of 18 the three had become a happy little family and Eden ended up striking a deal with carla to run in her crew for an allowance of scratch.   And finally the true 2nd member of the crew that arrived only a year years after Eden did, Jackson Cowell, or Jack for short, a netrunner cast out from the 6th Street crew. Though the two had a rough start, Carla learned that Jack served in the unification war along with a few of his buddies, but due to PTSD and other factors like a drinking problem, he was forced out of 6th Street. Finding his way into Dogtown after being kicked out of almost every bar in Night City, Raine got talking to him First hearing of his talents, she brought him to Carla, where the two made a deal and he began working with her. Carls, thought Jack’s skill as a runner was beneficial to her and Raine as he was able to get into the parts of the net that Raine and Carla could not, not to mention his background as a ex soldier, he had knowledge about military and military grade tech. Though he was skillful these skills didnt come without consequence, one day for a job that was set up for the group Jack wandered a little too far into net most notably into Voodo boys terf.   Though they were obviously pissed Carla was able to smooth things over with them though not without having to deal with some favours that the Voodoo boys had for Carla’s crew as an apology. Although Jack’s main point of work and gig’s came from Dogtown he still ended up choosing to still work from his home of Rancho Cornado Jack would often commute from his home to D-town whenever a job from Carla came up.   After a few years of the four of them working together and becoming close, countless jobs came and went, Carla and Raine grew ever closer, but it was also a frustrating situation with neither wanting the other to be put in any danger. Finally, this came to a head when Carla and Eden went and dealt with a problem for the VDBs. Their job was a simple search and rescue, or at least search and recover one of their own that went dark.   The job went to shit the Runner that went dark? Alive and fucking well got the jump on both Carla and Eden. However, their mission was to bring the target back home alive that wasnt possible as soon as Eden went out cold Carla slammed on her battle glove snuck behind the bitch and with a suble *click* “gotcha fucking cunt” *boom* the kick on her arm was a bitch and almost took it with her. Still, they found a shard with the runner's notes, which satisfied the VDBs, Carla wasted no time in getting Eden to a medical professional though it was late at night she pounded on Ellias’ door a doctor that strayed his way into Dtown, waking him up but seeing Eden’s injury he rushed her inside and began treating her, though he tried to get Carla to stay for treatment as well she declined knowing she had to go home first and update Raine first.   A beaten and injured Carla had Raine worried sick. Finally, after a long argument between the two the truth about their feelings came out and finally after so long the two got to spend the night differently and now for better or worse their both in this shitshow together.   Currently Carla continues to set up gigs for her crew and keep over relations with the Voodoo boys as well as not trying to piss of the local law, Barghest. She tends to also seek help medically from a doctor that strayed his way into Dog town Ellias.   From Carla’s perspective Ellias is a fantastic medic knowing how to help fix people up when whatever still ganic part of them goes to shit or when you need a fine tuning of cyberware. Through him she managed to get a built in lie detector that now sits to aid her in picking out any ulterior motives any clients could have for her and her crew.   One day a kid came to her after Mr. Hands a well known fixer in the area had passed along the contract to her being curious she decided to listen into the kids story.
