What Went Down
The team is finally facing the elusive/reclusive Brandon Lewis. His room in the apartment complex is opulent by most Watson standards. He believes that the team is here to kill him, and he name-drops, "Emily."
There is tense back-and-forth as you try to press him for further details. He is not willing to explain what he is doing with the Tyger Claws, other than, "I provide for them, they provide for me." Brandon does provide you with an older image that shows his younger self at a corporate social function. His arm is around the waist of an Asian woman who appears to be the person you met at Ginsu's Noodles & Sushi. Nametags confirm the name. Brandon informs you that she works for Kendachi Arms in the Logistics division. He left Kendachi because he felt that his contributions were not fairly recognized.
Brandon offers the team 2000 eddies to walk away from the job. Given that sum doesn't quite match what "Emily" is paying you, Cipher rejects the deal. Noises in the hallway suggest that Tyger Claws are preparing to intervene in this discussion.
Upon learning what the team's actual mission is, Brandon offers to sweeten his offer with a braindance that matches what "Emily" has asked you to acquire. This is tentatively accepted.
After leaving the apartment, Athlon runs some additional searches, but he can only turn up some generic press release statements. A cursory analysis of the braindance reveals that it is legitimate. None of you has a BD wreath to "experience" the full sensory input, but the visual signal does show Brandon having sex with an Asian woman whose body might pass as Emily. The woman's face is not clearly visible. A copy of the recording is made.
The team meets with Emily at Ginsu's again. She coldly dismisses Athlon, stating that the agreement is between Sébastien, Io and Cipher. His cut of the payment is for the team to work out. She takes the braindance shard and gives the team a credchip with 2250 eddies - the 750 EB apiece for Sébastien, Io and Cipher.
