What Went Down

Cipher and Io are awakened to the roar of a street race tearing up Barber Street. Harry informs them in the morning that this happens every month or so. Only inside info on where the race begins, and a fast car will gain entry to the competition. Io and Cipher started shopping for scarves and other decorations for Io's container. Io, Cipher and Sebastien then returned to Quantum Echoes in the evening.

The live band at Quantum Echoes are very unpolished, often playing out of sync with each other. At the advice of a local, they also visited The Last Drop bar shortly before closing time.

Notable Events

Cipher intimidated John and Chuck, the two dock workers previously encountered. Chuck thinks John is flirting inappropriately with Io, and both Cipher and Io overhear this. John insists he is only trying to be friendly. John eventually stops by the team's table to ask about Io's nomad connection. Most of the dock workers have diverted shipments to various nomad families. It's just part of doing business in Watson. John will start looking for possible fixer contacts for the team. He suggests the team visit The Last Drop for better music.

A well-dressed Japanese man entered Quantum Echoes, and walked directly to the table that the team sat at. After a short bow, he stated, "Kobun Kanzaki offers his appreciation." Without another word, he turns and leaves the bar.

At The Last Drop, the band Forty is finishing their set for the night. What little the team heard was a significant improvement on the noise at Quantum Echoes.

While walking back to Harry's Yard, four Tyger Claws tried to demand the team's eddies. All four quickly realized their error and managed to get away, but not before two of them were seriously hurt.
