The Peace Grove
Pine University is a university in Pine, Zenxon. Originally intended a sprite university, it now serves both sprites and humans. It is well known for it medical program and its architecture, which is said to rival that of the IAF Building.
Inspired by the success of Greenfield University, Sprite universities began forming in other cities in Zenxon. The second was built in Pine, not only as a university, but as a testament to the perseverance of the sprites themselves. Located within walking distance of Pine Hill, where the conflict between sprites and humans came to a head in 1136, the university was constructed with sprite architechture in mind. Most of the buildings are made of wood, and white pine trees grow throughout the campus
The Peace Grove
The centerpiece of Pine University is the peace grove. Surrounded by white pine trees sits a stone pavillion. Carved on the outside are the words, "We remember the past in the hope of a future of peace." On the inside are pictures depicting different moments in the history of the conflict between sprites and humans, including the first arrival of humans, the final stand at Pine Hill, and the end of the no-magic laws in 1421. These pictures are found on only one side of the pavillion, representing the past. The other side is blank, representing a future that has yet to be told. Critics of the peace grove claim that its iconography is one-sided, and vilifies humans rather than representing peace. But it remains a popular location for locals, humans and sprites alike, who believe it's representative of their city, which is now leading the country in the fight for equality and is sometimes called "The Second Haven."

A Place for Everyone
Though Greenfield University and Willow University remain schools specifically for sprites, both sprites and humans attend Pine University. This may be due in part to the lack of other major universities nearby, but has probably also grown out of the general city culture, which was the first city to declare legal protection for sprites against discrimination and unlike cities like Serendipity does not have separate sprite and human neighborhoods.
A Place of Medicine
Pine University has become particularly notable for its medical programs, and is home to the Antibiotics research that led to increased cooperation between medical doctors and traditional healers and the healer classification system that exists today.

I like the idea of the Peace Grove, despite its controversy.
