Dreamlands

When sleeping every animal, plant, and being's mind travels. They always travel to the same destination, the Dreamlands.   The Dreamlands is an endless plain of existence, each person who comes to it exists in a small section of it. Travel within the Dreamlands is difficult, a person could walk for several days and never move. Time also shifts, you could be there for several days with the Dreamlands and wake up in your world having only an hour passes. On other days you could spend three minutes in the Dreamlands and sleep for three days.   The Dreamlands exist in a dimension far removed from Nibmu. There the Fates hold no sway over the course of events and even when they attend the Dreamlands they are subject to a dark god, Nyarlathotep. Nyarlathotep is one of the few beings that exist within the Dreamlands and knows what it is and how it works. This knowledge gives Nyarlathotep the ability to manipulate reality. Normally Nyarlathotep keeps to his own Dreamlands.   When you enter into the Dreamlands through sleep you are transported to your own section. Your section of the Dreamlands can be within the same dimensional plane as others, or will not be it is entirely random. If you enter into the Dreamlands physically you will find yourself in Nyarlathotep's Dreamlands. The dark god Nyarlathotep tends to notice as soon as something comes within his world whether he cares is another story.
