Grimchilla
They came from within the forests of the Summerlands. With their mallets and spears they raided towns and villages. In mere moments all of the Summerlands knew their wrath. This period of fear lasted for generations but now it is but a shade of it’s former self. Once fearsome warriors, the adorable grimchillas have now found solitude in their forests or integrated with the other races.
How they look.
Despite their status as fearsome warriors, has the appearance of a grimchilla never struck fear in the hearts of anyone. In battle they hide their large black eyes and squishy faces behind masks made of metal which may fool someone to get scared. Though their round fluffy bodies and ears makes the feeling short-lived.
A grimchilla could best be described as a round fluffball. All of their body except for their hands and feet are covered in some of the densest fur in existence. Their limbs and head do not reach far from the body but their straight tail does. This tail helps them with balancing but they have little control over it.
When grimchillas are around unfamiliar faces, they prefer to don what used to be their war masks. A grimchilla’s war mask are a helmet of usually iron or bronze with ear holes and a plumage on top. The face has a lot of anatomic details to make the Grimchilla appear scarier; anything from accentuated nose bridges and cheekbones to tusks and angry eye slits.
How they live.
Grimchillas are some of the newest members of society. It was not long ago that they only held themselves to their secluded villages in the forests of the Summerlands. Now they’ve settled into normal everyday life all over the continent and only a few have traversed the waters of the world.
Many grimchillas still live in their forest village. Here they’ve mostly stopped their wrathful ways towards other people and instead they focus more on hunting.
