Drepani, Scythe of Athreos

Athreos carries a scythe to sever the bonds between soul and body. His favored follower may only borrow the scythe when the balance of the realms are at stake.

Scythe of Passage. This magic Scythe grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. When you hit with an undead using it, cast turn undead. As a free action, you can use this scythe to make an unconscious fail their death saving throws and render them unable to be ressurected.

Blessing of Passage. If you are a worshiper of Athreos, you gain all the following benefits for which you have the required piety:

Piety 10+. The Scythe has 1 randomly determined minor beneficial property.

Piety 25+. The Scythe has 1 randomly determined major beneficial property.

Piety 50+. The Scythe has 1 additional randomly determined major beneficial property.

If you aren't a worshiper of Athreos, the Scythe has 2 randomly determined minor detrimental properties.

Reaping of Souls. You must be attuned to a Athreos’ Shroud and an Amulet of Proof against Detection and Location for the following effects. Gain immunity to necrotic damage. Attacks made with this weapon deals an extra 3d6 necrotic damage and you regain hit points equal to all the damage dealt. You can cast speak with dead as a cantrip. Any time you use speak with dead the dead is under the effects of zone of truth (DC 15) and cannot omit anything it knows. Once per short rest, you can talk to the souls of the living as if they are under the effects of speak with dead.
