Elemental Fiends
Elemental Fiends resemble nature itself. Usually composed of inorganic materials or energies like stones, ice, and lightning, these Fiends are dangerous in that their bodies are far more durable than those of Beast Fiends. A wide variety of Elemental beast Fiends exist also, varying in size and composition, though all of them consisting of one or more elements of nature. Because of their uniqueness, it is challenging to categorize them all into their own variety so they are instead divided by the dominant element that they are composed of. The three varieties instead are focused on their state's being Solid, Fluid, or Energy.
Solid Elemental Fiends are exactly that, solid. Their forms consisting of solid, tangible, and unyielding matter like stone, ice, and metal. Their forms do not change once set though they can usually fold into themselves to appear like a natural formation. Their tough exteriors make them very resistant to most traditional attacks.
Fluid Elementals are composed of matter that flows and turns in on itself like air, water, or magma. These fiends are usually very good at absorbing impacts from weapons as they can reshape around attacks making them very deadly.
Energy Elementals are made up of raw concentrated energy. In many cases these are made up of Fire, Lightning, or Light. They forms are very intangible making them nearly immune to most physical attacks and able to reach wide areas when attacking.
It is not uncommon to come across a elemental fiend that has more than one element type mixed into it. Or to find mixed varieties like a Solid and Flowing Fiend melded into one. If encountering these types, it is important to keep in mind that they may share both the strengths and weaknesses of either state or type which can sometimes work to your advantage.
