Hunting Grounds

The Hunting Grounds is an open-world area that plunges players into the heart of former New York City. It is a high-risk, high-reward zone where a dense population of Hunters resides among the crumbling ruins. Within the city, special Missions are available designed to provide players with opportunities to acquire valuable resources and gather crucial information about the whereabouts of the Blacksmiths: Hunter replication facilities.   Players will embark on perilous expeditions into the dangerous and sprawling urban wastelands, navigating through the crumbling and falling skyscrapers, debris-strewn streets filled with overgrown vegetation, and decaying subterranean tunnels. The objective is to locate and neutralize specific high-value targets among the Hunter population while surviving waves of relentless mechanical adversaries.   Each Hunting Grounds mission presents unique challenges and objectives, such as retrieving key data fragments, disabling Hunter command nodes, and decrypting information about the whereabouts of GenTech’s secret facilities. To increase the difficulty and rewards, players can choose from different difficulty tiers.   Throughout the Hunting Grounds, players have the opportunity to scavenge resources, salvage advanced technology, and uncover hidden lore about the history of humanity. These valuable findings can help player track down and infiltrate the facilities, ultimately leading to the critical task of crippling Hunter production.
