GenTech Hunter Design

Visual Design Hunters have a sleek, angular design with an imposing appearance. They are covered in thick armor plating of metallic black and gray carbon fiber. Glowing points can be seen on them as well as small bits of tubing, cables, pistons, and other high tech mechanical parts.

Goals

Hunters seek to eliminate humankind. Their onboard AI is ruthlessly efficient and effective. They continue to replenish their ranks through self-replication facilities called Blacksmiths scattered around the world.

Biology

The Hunters are entirely robotic, built to instill fear and dread. They are heavily fortified, highly mobile, and well equipped machines with few vulnerabilities.

Psychology

As AI-driven machines, Hunters lack human emotions but possess a complex neural network capable of analyzing and responding to combat situations instantly. They do not experience fear or hesitation, making them thoroughly relentless.

Language

Hunters do not use conventional language but are able to communicate wirelessly through transmissions directly to one another, operating individually and as a pack.

Architecture

All of GenTech’s public facilities are long destroyed. Their headquarters in New York City remains a crumbling ruin. However, several Blacksmiths manufacturing complexes still exist and are fully operations. These hidden installations are immensely technologically advanced, operating completely autonomously and self-sufficient. They are vast facilities filled with winding corridors or machinery and assembly lines. They are immersed in the eerie glow of the manufacturing process with sparks, flames, and blinking lights activating constantly.

Technology

Hunters are equipped with advanced weaponry, defensive measures, and targeting systems. Their optical scanners, thermal imaging, and motion trackers allow them to quickly respond to threats from all directions. Hydrogen engines enable them to pull fuel directly from the environment, providing a near-limitless supply of energy. Many original models of Hunters exist, however they have begun to adapt and produce new, more specialized units as well.

Hierarchy

Hunters operate independently, but their interconnected neural network allows them to work together in a coordinated manner. There is no hierarchical structure within the Hunter units themselves.

Social Structure

Hunters do not possess a social structure. They operate autonomously with only their directive to follow.

Command Structure

Hunters respond together to the most imminent threat, regardless of what unit encounters it.

Weaponry

Hunters are equipped with a wide array of advanced weaponry, defensive measures, and targeting systems, making them formidable adversaries in combat. They exist in several different specialized forms, making them extremely versatile opponents.

Vehicles

Hunters are capable of agile movements across various terrains without the need for conventional vehicles.
