Dominion

Dominion is the once well-intentioned peacekeeping organization that was established by the Sol Council to maintain order and security within Bastion and the Lunar colonies. Initially, Dominion was entrusted with the responsibility of upholding law and order, protecting the citizens of New Terra, and ensuring the smooth functioning of society. They were seen as a force for good, working in conjunction with the Terran Defense Corps to keep the city safe from external threats and internal unrest.
  However, as Dominion's power grew, so did their ambitions. They began to exploit their position of control to consolidate their authority and exert influence over the city's affairs. They have established a deep network of bribery and corruption within the Sol Council, allowing them to abuse their position of authority and veer away from their original purpose. This thirst for power and control welcomed oppressive tactics, disregarding the welfare of the very citizens they were supposed to protect.
  Under Dominion's rule, Bastion has become a city plagued by inequality and a heavy-handed regime. The organization has been accused of violating individual rights and silencing any opposition to their rule. Their actions have created a deep sense of resentment and fear among the inhabitants of New Terra who are left feeling powerless. While Dominion operates its regime in the Lunar colonies as well, Bastion has been particularly negatively affected.
  Moreover, Dominion has converted many synthetics originally meant for peacekeeping and protection into Enforcers to maintain their iron grip. This further exacerbates the feeling of mistrust and betrayal among the people.
  As the once-trusted peacekeepers turn into oppressors, resistance against Dominion's rule has grown. Various factions including Solaris and the Native Sons have emerged to challenge their authority and fight for the freedom and welfare of the citizens.
  They are part of the Pandemonia Collective.
