Personal history
Long long ago for a long-forgotten reason, a powerful wizard summoned Rocky. After a few centuries the place they'd been protecting had crumbled to dust and the magic binding them there had dissipated so they set out in search of people and purpose. After a few centuries of searching, they settled into mining. With a combination of Rocky not needing to sleep, breathe, or eat cave-ins were more of an inconvenience. This combined with their love of explosives made them an amazing demolitionist. After tens of thousands of years traveling the world, working in the core of the earth with dwarfs, with the precious metals of the elves, the resilience of humans, and much much more they finally decided they were ready for a change, maybe some time helping people and hearing thier stories?
