Clone

Causes

Genetic material from hair, blood, or saliva needs to be extracted before being put into an empty ovum and given a spark of life. The embryo then must be put into a surrogate mother or pod before it can continue growing.

Symptoms

A clone will look, act, and sound just like the original if no extra genetic therapy is added.

Prognosis

The clone will usually live its own life without intervention unless the lab cloning it decides to destroy the copy.

Sequela

Clones will usually be jealous of the orignal's life depending on how they learn they are clones.

History

Human cloning was jumpstarted when Ludwig decided to try cloning the most ferocious of the lion women for the fun of it. Since he had Nuwa's heart on hand, keeping the embryo and resulting baby in a pod was a walk in the park. The hard part was making her into his own daughter.

Cultural Reception

People generally eye clones with suspicion due to the legal issues of having two copies of one person in the same world. If one of the clones adopts a different identity, they will be considered a relative of the original person instead.
