Capacca
A large, mole-like creature that lives in forest canopies. It employs its quick arms for swinging between branches and a prehensile tongue reaches for hanging fruits and nuts. Though typically herbivorous, they will attack and kill creatures they feel threatened by and occasionally eat the corpses.
Greenbelt Capacca have a particular animosity toward Tapirs and it is here they show off a surprising intelligence and guile. A group of normally solitary Capacca will surround a lone Tapir and feint several times before pouncing on and tearing at the neck of their prey.
Capacca are wary of Gauthra and Humans, backing away with barred molars but rarely choosing to strike back.
