Great Kip
Kipekan Hero of Legend
Great Kip is a hero held in high honor amongst the Kipekan Tribes. Their stories tell of an ancient empire of oppressors known as Indarra that held the Kipekan peoples as slaves. Eventually, the arcane power that suffused the world turned against this empire, and heroes began to emerge from their population that seemed tied to the flow of magic itself. Known as Godlings by the Kipekan peoples, these heroes began uniting the various groups of slaves into one strong force of warriors to overthrow the empire. Greatest among these heroes was a mythical child of Ysmid, Great Kip, the general of the Kipekan armies, and the man who the Kipekan culture would take their name from. Said to have such strength of personality that he could bend the world to his will, Great Kip led the armies of the slaves to successfully free their peoples from the oppressive yoke of the Indarran Empire. In the Book of Memories touched by Naroth, the Indarran Generals referred to the Kipekan Heroes as living sources, a name bearing strong resemblance to the legendary Godwoken described in the history before the fall of Requilia. It is possible that Great Kip was a particularly powerful Godwoken, as most were known to carry great shifts in the world.
