Revolution

A time in which goblins started a brutal insurrection against their slavers and masters the Hobgoblins, over the course of 12 years until the two subraces were separate.

After years of systematic rigorous exploitation, the goblins in the service of the Iron Empire collectively decided they were sick of the hobgoblins.
Hobgoblins mysteriously fell out of tall walls or got too drunk and fell asleep in cauldrons. After 2 years with very little progress they decided to actively fight, leading to 40% of the rebellion being killed before the hobgoblins gave up dealing with them.
