Vali, God of Luck and Games
The Gambler, Vali is the patron of games of chance and luck. Most gambling houses in New Atlantis are technically shrines or temples to Vali, and the game masters of such establishments are his clerics. Places without the open backing of Vali are distrusted; for the god abhors cheating by the house, though not so much by the players, and a gambling hall without a priest to the God of Games is generally considered to be hiding illicit dealings or cheating game runners.
