The Siblings of Misery
Three sibling deities who cannot stand each other; Lupe, Goddess of Grief, Ahkos, God of Pain, and Ania, Goddess of Sorrow are the source of long term misery among mortals. The three are each susceptible to the effects of each other, and the siblings revel in inflicting their own brand of suffering on the others. Mortals who take pleasure in the pain, grief, or sorrow of their fellow man are punished by Chiron's Temple with the Mark of Algos, a unified mark representing all three of the siblings. In addition, mortals who seek to get ahead in their trade by undermining others are held to the same standard; a person's success should never intentionally result in another's despair. When the Siblings of Misery escape from their prison in Tymoria the aches of the world become more pronounced and debilitating, and those who are suffering the pains of their past risk being swallowed by them.
The lesser Punished Deities do not have proper clerics; people pray to them that their personal failings will be forced upon the god instead, adding to their punishment in Tymoria.
