Osiris, God of Rituals

Osiris is the patron of all regular rituals. His priests are the ones to preside over funeral rites and, when present, they are responsible for all the common rituals that make society run such as restoring the ground's fertility or maintaining the cleanliness of a pond or lake. All spellcasters who specialize in ritual magics pay homage at any shrine or temple of Osiris they come across. Most clerics of Osiris come from families that are highly magically gifted, but are not magical themselves. The most important and regular roll of a cleric of Osiris is the mummification and burial of the dead; something that is generally done for all Atlanteans, but is a necessity for the corpses of magic users. Such bodies leak magic as they decay, and can play havoc with the local environment depending on how powerful the mage was in life.
