Nemesis, Goddess of Hubris
Placed in charge of the other cursed Deities of Strife due to her own foolish boasting; Nemesis constantly struggles to keep the deities beneath her in line, lest she be punished by her master, Chiron. As the chief deity of failures in warfare, Nemesis' priests bless companies of soldiers before they go on long assignment with the intent of pushing the failings of the Deities of Strife back onto them. Her priests are rarely the souls who join her in her self-inflicted punishment, however; instead she is bolstered by the souls of those who were self-deluded into thinking they were greater than they were until it killed them.
Nemesis is forced to keep the seven Deities of Strife trapped within their prisons and under eternal torment, a job that she is not up to the task of completing. The seven cursed deities frequently escape and spread chaos and confusion across New Atlantis. When this happens, Nemesis is so focused on catching them to minimize her punishment that she will often forget to gift her clerics with spells until they are returned to their prisons. Chiron enjoys the fact that whenever the Deities of Strife slip their bonds they return with newly corrupted souls for him to punish, but has never needed to instigate a breakout on his own due to Nemesis' ineptitude.

Body Features
Nemesis has a pair of dove white wings that grow from her back, similar to an Aven. However, the first time she failed to keep the seven deities under her in their prison, Chiron broke her wings and cursed them to never heal again. The wings are crooked, and clearly cause her pain at all times; and are obviously incapable of flight or even gliding.
