Loki, God of Trickery, Fire, and Competition

The god Loki has a very complicated relationship with the races of New Atlantis. He is the patron of all sports and games, though as the God of Trickery he is not one to be invited to participate. He is also the patron of illusion, the only branch of magic that is not favoured by any of the Avian Gods; and most mages who are learned in illusions are forbidden from learning any other kind of magic by the practitioners of them. Loki's priests will often play practical jokes on their community, something that is tolerated until they become a nuisance. When clerics of the Trickster overstay their welcome in a town though, they are kicked out without a second thought. This has lead to Loki having no "official" temples, instead having shrines set up in secret places to avoid them being targeted by annoyed mortals.
