Krotos, God of Masculinity and Hunting for Sport
The mythological firstborn Satyr to their deific parent, the Great God Pan, Krotos is the god of hunters who go after big game, as well as shepherds, in addition to being the patron deity for his Satyr kin. The Cult of Krotos is more antagonistic than many others due to a divine rivalry between him and the Avian Gods who, according to myth, were responsible for the death of his father, Pan.
Krotos does not have true temples, instead instructing his followers meet in outside locations to pray and perform boisterous rituals that help keep a balance between civilization and wilderness; and it is not uncommon for an incarnation of Krotos to join in the revelry surrounding his rituals. His shrines are placed in far away locations to serve as landmarks, often with directions back to civilization for those who come across them; and are tended by a Satyr cleric or druid. Clerics of Krotos are almost always male; all Satyr worship him, but most Satyr women are more beholden to Krotos' cousin deity, Artemis.
