Asclepius, God of the Sun and Medicine

The mythological father of chemistry and medicine, Asclepius is the sun personified, life everlasting in an immortal, divine, form. Asclepius' clerics are the keepers are medical information; and while not all doctors are priests of Asclepius, all priests of Asclepius are doctors. Healing magic is extraordinarily rare, but Asclepius' clergy have discovered how to bring out the supernatural properties of plants and other, more exotic, ingredients to heal a body faster than mere chemical medicine.
Most Temples to Asclepius include homages to the lesser gods beneath him, his wife and daughters. This is no more apparent than in the classic form a statue of him takes; he is always depicted beside his wife, with their three children around them.
