This smooth, amethyst-colored gem is about the size of a robin's egg and emanates a faint purple glow. When held, it feels warm to the touch and seems to pulse gently, as if alive. The gem bears tiny etchings that resemble closed eyelids around its surface.

- Resonance Detection. The gem glows brighter (shedding dim light in a 5-foot radius) when within 30 feet of creatures or objects affected by Veiled Eye magic, including purple-tinted daggers, controlled individuals, or other cult items.
