Potion & Provisions

Potions & Provisions is a charming, well-established shop nestled in the Dwarven Enclave of Neverwinter's Chasm District. Known throughout the city for its unique blend of halfling herbalism and dwarven craftsmanship, the shop has become a cornerstone of the community over the past decade.

The exterior features a distinctive split-level design to accommodate both halfling and dwarven patrons—a wider lower entrance for dwarves and a raised platform with a smaller door for halflings and other small folk. A wrought iron sign bearing the shop's name hangs above, featuring an intertwined mortar and pestle with a hammer and anvil, symbolizing the union of potion-making and practical provisions.

Interior & Offerings

Inside, the shop is divided into two main sections that flow seamlessly together:

The Provisions Side (Pip's domain) contains:

• Shelves of finely crafted traveling gear and adventuring supplies
• A glass counter displaying rare goods from across the Sword Coast
• Several barrels of specialty dwarf-made preserves and iron rations
• A small section for uniquely designed containers and carrying systems

The Potions Side (Willow's realm) features:

• A wall of neatly labeled potion bottles organized by purpose and potency
• A small apothecary counter where Willow conducts consultations
• Hanging bundles of drying herbs and roots from the ceiling
• A glass-enclosed workspace where customers can watch custom potions being prepared

The shop smells of a pleasant blend of herbs, alchemical ingredients, leather, and metal polish. The lighting comes from specially designed everburning lanterns—wedding gifts from dwarven metalworkers—that cast a warm glow throughout the space.
