The teeth of Dahlver-Nar

According to legend, Dahlver Nar was a cleric (the God is unknown. It's assumed he followed the knowledge domain. The best theory from scholars is that he worshipped Deneir) from millenia ago, who defeated a red dragon, Incendax, and carved stories into his teeth. According to tradition, the stories are the strongest direct connection to Kaistora, the plane of stories and legends. Deneir also resided on this plane   Some believe that Dahlver-Nar was Deneir, or became him, rather than being a cleric to him. If this theory is true, the artefact may have lost its power, as Deneir sacrificed himself to restore the weave, placing his remaining power within Cadderly Bonaduce, one of his chosen.   Using the artefact   By implanting the teeth, one could inherit the powers of the stories, or summon the creatures from the story. Legends talk about how this either killed or didn't work with most people, leading scholars to posit that only a small number can actually interface with the artefact.   There's ongoing debate among scholars as to whether the artefact existed as legends described. Some believe the stories were not written onto teeth, but into a book (with pencils carved from teeth, leading to mistranslations).   Regardless, if it did exist in any form, it has long disappeared.
