River Mirar
The river Mirar is fed by large amounts of snowmelt in the spring, which causes a cascade of ice and sleet to rush along the river each year, powerful enough to destroy most bridges. At Blackford Crossing the river essentially turns on its side, and forms a deep chasm. The bridge crosses the chasm, high enough to avoid the annual onslaught
