Port Llast

A new port town north of Neverwinter, designed to alleviate the heavy sea traffic of Neverwinters ports, as this town is built into a large natural bay which provides ample protection for ships. Has a population of only around 700, including skilled masons and shipwrights   The Neverwinter canal and Shipping company (partly owned by the Bank of caldwell and Portyr and also the Parliament of Peers) are in the process of digging a canal between New Neverwinter and Port Llast, connecting the current canal system to the sheltered port Llast, drastically expanding Neverwinter's shipping capabilities. This scheme is fairly unpopular, however, as the canal runs through heapside directly, and many homes and businesses are being demolished to make way for the canal.
