House of Tymora

A grand, ableit seedy, gambling house in Seatower. Attended by rich and poor alike, this large domed structure is well adapted to separating people from their coin. Owned by the Lord Herald Felicity House, this is also where the city runs its lottery, an important source of income for the council.   Players here can enjoy games such as blackjack, roulette, and Baldur's bones (a popular game brought over from Baldur's gate, played similarly to blackjack).   Lord House   "Between the deserts far to the east, and the vast metropolis of Neverwinter, I must admit both are a lifeless pit of vipers. It might even be safer in the desert; there's only dust to judge your sins." - Lord Felicity House   Lord House is famed for her grandeur, always wearing the finest court fashion; an impeccable display of wealth and beauty. Born and raised in grandeur, as a member of the royal family in the desert nation of Anauroch, she has the will and power to commit herself to anything she desires. As a half elf, she lives longer than a typical human, and is rumoured to create slow-acting plans with malicious intents. These rumours are, however, totally unsubstantiated, and met with brutal repurcussions from the Queen's Enquiry.   Lord House also owns and operates Felco, a manufacturing company with factories in Heapside and Rivington. She employs several thousand people across the entire city, and has vertically intergrated much of the process, making steel and weapons. Felco works closely with the Enlightenment Assembly to employ a steady stream of feckless engineers.   She always seems to fail upwards, as her allies and family fall into controversy and bankruptcy, she seems perfectly placed to pick up the pieces of their shattered empires and expand her own operations. As they say, "the house always wins".   Given the recent disappearance of the Queen, and the fact that Lord House is still issuing proclamations on her behalf, many are wondering whether the Lord Herald was involved, and who's proclamations these really are.
