Shattered Moon

Netheria's moon is known as Selara, the Shattered Moon. Legend has it that long ago, a cataclysmic event shattered Selara into countless fragments. These fragments now orbit Netheria, creating a mesmerizing spectacle in the night sky. The shattered moon appears as a tapestry of shimmering pieces, glowing with a faint, melancholic purple and/or blue hue.   Among the people of Netheria, it is believed that the shattered moon emits a haunting, mournful song that resonates through the night. This ethereal melody is said to evoke a sense of longing and melancholy in those who hear it, connecting them to the moon's fragmented state and the ancient tragedy that befell Selara.   Some individuals, known as Fragment-Seekers, dedicate themselves to uncovering the secrets of the shattered moon. These adventurers, scholars, and mystics embark on perilous quests to retrieve lunar fragments. It is believed that these fragments possess unique properties and latent magical energies that can be harnessed for various purposes, such as enchantments or divination.
