Your world has long forgotten sunlight, long forgotten the ever churning skies of stars and planets. There are no seasons, no migrations; Days do not pass, and the cosmos stands still. 

In its place, this stagnation, they found the Darkrot. A miasma that feeds on the flesh of your kin, that raises corpses from the ground, and spares nothing it touches. 

Five years ago, we sought to trace a path through the dark. A trail to the other side of our world. One bathed in light.

In hope.  

The fate of those we sent on this perilous journey is unknown. Their letters have stopped, their sightings unconfirmed, conflicting...confusing. Your world seeks to escape this endless night. 

And so I ask; Find them, find a path through the dark, bring us to sunlight.
