The Heartland
The centermost region of the continent of Sol is known as the Heartland. It encompasses the territory held by the Kingdom of Ayrith as well as pockets of holdings of other surrounding polities. The Heartland boasts some of the most consistently arable, fertile land on the continent, making it the breadbasket of Sol. Much of the land surrounding the great cities, towns, and villages of the region is dedicated to agriculture. There are also smaller regions within the Heartland, such as the Honey Hills west of Almavira to the Splintered Forest near Sayda.
