The Kraken's Berth
Built in 773 BD, The Kraken's Berth is a modest tavern on the shores of Anville's port district. It is own by an Elyrian, Cyril Lecerf, a patron, but not member of the local thieves guild. The tavern is full most nights, with the Cyril's daughter - Maria (Human Commoner) offering up her singing talents in place of a gleeman. His wife Anna cooks the meals with his help, and the two boys to keep them out of mischief serve the patrons.
The tavern only has three main tables in the center of the room, a few chairs near the stage that are shuffled about as needed, and four booths including a corner booth. There are also three stools that can be sat at the bar directly, although Cyril avoids using them when he can. It can hold about 30 people comfortably, and cram another 5 in a pinch. His prices are fair, but he doesn't have any fancy liquors like some of the other bars. Strangely there is no bouncer despite the rowdy patrons.
Arnolde is the oldest son, and unbeknownst to his father has joined the thieves guild and is fairly good at it. There is a carved out compartment in his room that he stashes his loot: a pouch with 3 gold coins, and 74 silver prynn, as well as a very sharp dagger.
Wesley is too young for such things, and while he tries to follow his brother when he leaves, he can't keep up, but has not said a word to no one about it. He wants to join a merchant crew one day and sail across the Seas of Storms to see the deserts of Aasha'i. He has picked up his father's Elyrian traits.
The Thieves' Guild has placed a mark on the tavern as a sign of their protection, and tolerate no injury or slight to the Cyril or his family.
