Pledge WE-2020

I still remember WorldEmber 2018 fondly as the first WorldAnvil event I participated in and got hooked ever since. While last year I sadly didn't find the time - I want to give it all this year!

My focus will be solely on this world, Neon-22. While I don't have a concrete plan, I have many ideas. So many ideas in fact that I won't list them individualy and instead give entire focus topics.

I, Luk98, pledge to complete WorldEmber to the best of my ability and will strife to write 25k words in the month of december!

EXPAND AUGMENTATIONS

I already established the framework for Augmentations in the article Augmentations, for WorldEmber 2020 I'd like to flesh out at least the four main classes of Augmentations. The more than a dozen subclasses that exist already along with those that without a doubt will emerge additionaly in the process should leave me with no shortage of articles to work on durring WorldEmber.

INTRODUCE PSIONICS

Durring 2020 I toyed with the idea to introduce some kind supernatural, not understood element to the techonolgical and scientific world that is Neon-22. However I didn't want to create a second fantasy world with magic. But powers sourced from the still enigmatic human mind that scientists try but fail to grasp with advanced technology will add an interesting dimension to the world.

MORE FACTIONS

So far I only wrote about Apex Security and Dragon Tear Syndicate. But there are many more corporations, factions, groups and organizations in my mind that I'd like to throw into the day to day powerstruggle of Neon-22.

THINGS OF THE FUTURE

In the 22nd century much has changed from today. Some things considered infeasible a century ago are now totaly mundane. There are many technological wonders to behold and I'd like to elaborate on a few of these items that shape Neon-22.

NEW LOCATIONS

Currently there are but a handful of locations. I want to add at least a few points of interest to the Detroit Sector, such as corporate facilities, hangouts, shops and maybe even the homes of characters. If I find the time I may expand the scope to the entire Great Lakes Megalopolis.
