Several states on the West coast unite with the fragmented remains of British Columbia to form the Cascadian Accord and declare their neutrality in the Second American Civil War.
The Cascadian Accord breaks away from the USA and declares neutrality in the Second American Civil War. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the Accord seizes control of the metroplexes in Seattle, San Francisco and Vancouver, dominating sea trade on the western coast and tightly controlling incoming shipping from China and Japan. Washington cannot fight a war on two fronts and agrees to let them go provided the shipping corridors remain open.
