The Strip

This is why you come here. Everything you could possibly want at your fingertips. Luxurious restaurants, palatial gambling halls, the finest in fashion, and everything your dark heart could possibly desire. Access to the Strip is tightly controlled, and those walking these hallowed streets can expect to be monitored at all times. The “gangs” that operate here are typically casino-based, each operating under strict regulations from ResTech to keep their individual disputes from interfering with guest enjoyment. Out of the watchful eyes of the cameras, Practitioners engage in dark dealings with spirits on an a-la-carte basis to delight wealthy patrons with arcane experiences they couldn’t safely experience anywhere else.

Notable Locations

Almost every notable location on The Strip is a massive hotel/casino, bound together by labyrinths of pedestrian walkways that keep funnelling tourists and gamblers from one money pit into the next.

The following casinos are listed in order from north to south.

  • The Stratosphere - Owned by ResTech. Fortified, exclusive, high security. Restricted to corp-affiliated individuals only. A towering resort with high-end rooms, discreet meeting spots, luxe restaurants and high-stakes gambling. Impossible to get into unless you’re Someone.
  • Sahara - Closed. Currently undergoing refurbishment by Trinity.
  • Circus Circus - owned by Obelisk, operated by the Bozos. Open to the public. A cult of nihilists in clown makeup run the joint. You’re going to see some weird shit in here. Low-stakes gambling and cheap restaurants abound. Don’t look the clowns in the eye. There’s some weird sorcery here and WATCHTOWER has been called in several times, but the Bozo’s have never revealed the truth of what’s going on in the lower levels.
  • Encore - Owned by Trinity International. Corp-restricted. Luxury experiences.
  • Treasure Island - Owned by Lynx. Heavily pirate-themed. Open to the Public. Low to mid-tier gambling, dining and entertainment experiences. The pirate ship sinks every night, much to the delight of the guests. Two gangs, the Sweets and the Revelry, are jockeying for position to hold the most influence at TI.
  • The Venetian - Owned by Trinity International. Open to the public. The Gondoliers have formed their own gang. Luxe shopping centre in operation, offering the finest of fashions for those with the credits to pay for them.
  • The Mirage - ruined during a corp war. Still being dismantled and cleared. A hot bidding war has begun over the rights to build on the ashes of the old. A quick and dirty war between Lynx and Trinity broke out and the Mirage was wrecked as a result before ResTech could step in.
  • The Flamingo - Owned by Lynx. Great floor shows and dances. Favoured by criminals. Riddled with secret passages and boltholes to ensure the safety of the guests in the event of an attack. Harkens back to a bygone era, dripping with nostalgia and throwbacks. The Rat Pack play the headliner show every night, featuring biosculpted performers rolling out all the hits without missing a beat. If you’re looking for a place where gangers and corpers rub shoulders around the blackjack table, this is it.
  • The Cosmo Chandelier - Owned by Obelisk. A neutral meeting ground, protected by strange charms. Any who enter the Chandelier bar do so under obligation to refrain from causing harm to any others present. This makes them a prime rendezvous point for anyone seeking mediation or to settle disputes without resorting to guns and swords. While most of the Cosmo is open to the public, the Chandelier bar is restricted to those with enough cash to pay their hefty “resort fee.’
  • Caesar’s Palace - Owned by Obelisk. Austere and regal. Secretive and fortified. Armed guards aplenty to protect the wealthy and their wagers. One of the most well-protected casino hotels on the Strip, it usually plays host to a rotating cast of dignitaries visiting from the Free States, the Eastern Alliance or the Great Lakes Compact.
  • Bellagio - Owned by Trinity. Water features and high-stakes gambling rooms. Big fountains. Partially restricted access; a couple floors for the public, but plenty are restricted to members only. Entire fortunes are won and lost by the throw of the dice here.
  • Paris - Currently being dismantled and rebuilt by Lynx into Berlin Berlin, a throwback to the Roaring Twenties in Europe.
  • New York, New York - Owned by Lynx. Home to the West Side Brawl, a regular large-scale melee sporting event sponsored by Lynx and Chimera in a joint enterprise. The roller coaster has been dismantled.
  • MGM Grand - Owned by Obelisk. Controlled spirit acts. Partially open to the public.
  • Excalibur - Owned by Lynx. Jousting and cyber-knight shows. Open to the public, big on spectacle. Teams of knights compete for fame and glory on a regular basis, duelling and jousting amidst the cheers and jeers of the audience.
  • Luxor Pyramid - Owned by Obelisk. Dark sorceries and transcendent experiences. Closed to the public. Rumours abound that wealthy patrons can come here to partake in controlled arcane experiences provided by a small host of dedicated practitioners. Supervised possession, wherein Shadows are briefly allowed to inhabit the bodies of paying audience members, are highly popular and described as an incredible out-of-body experience. Other, more violent vices can also be indulged here, with summoners calling up entities for well-armed patrons to hunt in a curated maze below the pyramid.
