The Raveyard
A massive entertainment centre featuring multiple dance-halls, arcades and entertainment centres catering to low-income residents, the Raveyard parties day and night. This is also the main turf of the Ghuls, who operate their drug distribution network throughout the laser-lit corridors under the booming thump of stereo speakers. Their new home was perviously a community centre, home to the NLS before they were brutally evicted.
Some notable locations within the Raveyard include:
- Netizen Kane - A gaming cafe with banks of desktop rigs and VR crowns. A small bank of vendomats offer snacks, energy drinks and instant noodles for the patrons here, and the proprietor sells keycards to regular customers to ensure their desktops and interfaces can be fully customized into a loadable profile.
- King's Court - A two-tiered food court serving up an array of multi-national cuisines. Noisy and chaotic, you can get almost any kind of cheap food here, from soy kebabs, stir fry, curries, po'boys and tacos. Almost every surface in here is covered in graffiti. Ghul's have specially reserved tables here and deal openly; any Raveyard security guards are either on the Ghul's payroll or were forced out months ago.
- Thunder Halo - Hard rock, grunge and punk acts play almost nightly at this sticky-floored concert hall. Watch out for flying beer bottles; there are paramedics stationed here on a regular basis for quick stitch-ups, but their fees are extortionate.
- Mina's Makeovers - A bustling cyberdoc operation working out of an old beauty parlour, Mina specializes in cosmetic cyber but also offers a few combat-centric upgrades to discerning clientele.
- Qatrim's Quickstop - Offering cheap sustenance, painkillers, injectible cosmetics, slurpees and energy pills, Qatrim's is the frequent stop of many partygoers passing between one club and the next.
- D-Frag - A haven for glitchcore lovers, D-Frag is a blacklight and neon playground for ravers spread across two floors. Crash rooms for those dosing too hard are plentiful, the music deafening, the drinks cheap.
- Alpha-Mart - This supermarket has been completely overtaken by the Ghuls and turned into a headquarters and drug den. Within the back rooms, worship of their dark patron continues unheeded. There's always a crowd of Ghul's here among the abanded shelves and collapsed displays, drinking, fighting, dosing and enticing others to join them in their endless revels.
