Resplendent Technologies
The kings of entertainment and information, ResTech aims to be in the eyes and ears of every citizen on the planet. While other mega corps have PR divisions, ResTech are the de-facto masters of spin and propaganda, collecting and disseminating the news with just the right level of censorship and manipulation to keep the masses engaged and pacified. Their entertainment division is a realm of pleasure, bliss, abdication and ecstasy, offering a suite of lifesims, dance shows, corp-approved music, fashion and media that all seek to take you far, far away from your problems. ResTech also manufactures many of the readily-available VR crowns that are ubiquitous among the citizens of Neo Vegas, along with enough VRXP content to keep them all rabidly hooked and waiting for the next episode to drop. Most importantly, ResTech owns 90% of the hotels and casinos on the Strip, operating them through a trio of sub-corporations that cater to almost every taste, desire and ideological bent.
Structure
At the bottom of the hierarachy are the masses of wannabe entertainers, performers, writers, singers and showpeople vying for their brief chance in the spotlight. ResTech trolls the slush piles of talent for potential recruits that are malleable and coachable. An army of agents, assistants, PR managers and handlers keep the talent herded from one gig to the next, hopped up on performance boosters and diet pills. Above the scrum, middle-managers tasked with overseeing personal brands or entire clusters of entertainers are responsible for keeping the money-mill spinning away, pushing hot talent and quietly retiring those that aren't meeting their quotas, cycling them through career phases at the push of a button. At the higher echelons, talent heads keep watchful eyes on the thousands of channels, stages and showcases that ResTech pushes on the general public. A separate division handles all the logistical matters related to supporting the performers, the hotels and the broadcast networks. Above all else, The Show Must Go On.
Culture
Image is everything. Appearances are everything. There's no dead air, and nothing left unaccounted for, on a ResTech broadcast or in a ResTech casino. Every ResTech employee is expected to present perfectly while on the clock, and a legion of minders and PR managers keep their image sparkling clean, even if a contract dispute leads to bullets being exchanged in the boardroom. There's a spin for everything, and showing a less-than-pristine side to the public is a serious offence.
Public Agenda
ResTech aims to be the beating heart of Neo Vegas; they dominate the casinos, the hotels, the entertainment industry and the media. Publicly, they pride themselves at bringing only the best to Neo Vegans, with carefully curated entertainment constantly being rotated across their VR channels and on the hundreds of stages both big and small spread across Vegas. They're the main reason anyone who's anyone comes to Neo Vegas, and they aim to maintain that stability to the benefit of the city populace (and their own shareholders.)
Assets
ResTech owns major broadcasting networks and social media conglomerates in Neo Vegas, ensuring their messages and media content gets to their rabid audiences. They also own the majority of the hotels and casinos on the Strip, supported by a small army of entertainers, lawyers, problem-solvers and censors.
