Providing security, private muscle and medical services to whomever can pay, Paladin Ltd has bullied its way onto the world stage, absorbing dozens of mercenary companies, wasteland warrior clans and reputable street crews into their ranks. Emerging as an independent outfit that survived the destruction of Washington DC, many of the founding members were generals formerly serving a now-defunct United States government. Today, Paladin hire out to many private clients and have subdivisions within their ranks for more budget-friendly rates. Squires are the lowest of the low, rent-a-cops that protect well-off bodegas, sporting events and nightclubs. Knights are a cut above, and are often retained to supplement corp security or to act as private bodyguards. Templars are the highest tier, kitted out with the best gear and cyber money can buy, and charge a fortune to safeguard their wealthy clients. Paladins also employ Mendicants, teams of armed paramedics that operate in hot zones, as well as Merlins, who specialize in cybersecurity.
