The Crestor Family

The Crestor Family is the oldest Family in the empire. Their origins on Neihadar date back to the original landfalling of men on the continent. It was because of the Crestor Family, the men that were capable of leaving their home land. The Crestors were able to financially provide the means for the men to set sail. With no destination in mind, the journey was trechorous and many of the children and elders were unable to survive the trip.

Upon landing the Crestors were responsible for setting up trade agreements with the neighboring elves, and when it eventually came time to enter into War, the Crestors were almost solely responsible for soucing and providing the arms that were used by the Empire. Whether it be political, financial, or resource based, the Crestor Family has always been two-steps ahead of their enemies and the Royal Family of the Miridian Empire.

At the close of the War of Ages, many of the people wanted the Crestor Family to step into the shoes of the current King and take over, but for reasons unknown to anyone the head of the Family- Quorax Crestor V., turned down the position. The family erected a large Keep on a swath of land given to them by the King for their efforts in the War. They imported large obsidian bricks from the decimated capitol of Miridia, at great expense, to build their black keep.

The Crestor family still plays a large part in the comings and goings of the Miridian Empire, but for the most part, they keep to themselves in their Obsidian Keep. The current Crestor family is comprised of Quorax Crestor XI., his wife the Lady Clemence Crestor, and their 4 children. The eldest son and next head of the family, Quorax Crestor XII. is serving the family at their Keep. The next eldest sibling, the Lady Quora Crestor, is serving the Lord King Berhardt Velentius III. as part of his Royal Guard. The final two children, the Lady Ethel Castor and her younger brother Lord Ethen Crestor are 11 and 7 respectively.
