Bunker War

Qieq’ars swarmed the continent a week after they first arrived. Every country was under attack. Irziell soldiers all around the continent immediately got into action and started fighting. Governments freaked out since they had no idea how to deal with something this massive but they quickly came up with a plan. They ordered citizens to stay indoors until the attack was over. The Irziell’s knew they had no chance against the Qieq’ars but they still tried to take them down.   All of the Irziell soldiers on every continent came up with their own plans and tried to execute them and some worked but some didn’t. One country got surrounded and most of their soldiers were severely injured so they thought that they wouldn’t win but a small group of Irziell’s took the Qieq’ars by surprise and killed a few of them. This got their attention which allowed the rest of the Irziell’s to get back on their feet and gain the upper hand. All of the Qieq’ars retreated after they realized that they were losing. After 3 months it was finally over but with massive casualties. Millions of citizens were killed and injured and a lot of soldiers were killed.

After the large scale attack the governments for each country wanted to make sure that people were safe and started coming up with ideas. One suggested a bunker that could house large amounts of people until an attack was over. It sparked interest and there were a few tweaks suggested before they made their decision. The first iteration of the Underground Bunkers started to be made which would later become a major part of Irziell society.
