Theories on Origin

There are immense mysteries that span the multiverse of The Nebula, and the one ubiquitous question onH scholar's minds burns without clear answer: ow did the Nebula come to be? How did this Multiverse form? Why do the many worlds inside retain memories of themselves and where do they come from? There are several multiversal theorems being circulated through the drinking halls, recited from academic lecterns and whispered on aetheric breezes.   Organizations Gathering together, some of the wisest sages have accumulated mystery cults over the origins of the multiverse and it's inner workings. More akin to philosophical orders than religious cults, although some sects certainly organize in such a way, these unifying theories provide the building blocks for multiversal organizations to build a deontological framework for it's adherants. Simply put, their theory of how the multiverse runs in turn informs them on how they should interact within it. The provided frameworks provide not only a route to power but a guide to how it should be used within the Nebular Community.   Verdant Order - This unifying theory adheres to naturalist outlook on the multiverse. Presupposing an enormous multiverse-level cataclysm, The Verdant Order proposes that the Shards exist as arks in an ever expanding and apoptosing multiversial neighborhood. A great ring of druids called The First created these arks from natural materials escaping the heat death of their universes. Leaving the megalith behind, sealed in the strength of stone, they created the means for future generations to maintain these shards.   The World Hex - Adherants to this theory abide by the principles set out by the Arcane disciplines and apply it to the multiverse. The Theory of the World Hex assumes that the multiverse is part of an enormous spell, and that magic is the lifeblood and sinew of all that exists. Emphasis exists on the concept of sacred geometry that is said to permeate everything- the hexagon. This great mystery is investigated by several Great Wizards and their subjects, the exact nature of the hex and the possibility of its creator is a subject that is hotly debated. At the center of the universe, much like the center of a beehive cell- exists a Stellar Body whose secrets elude all the Great Wizards who fight over it.
