Fundament of the Last Masquerade

It was here our enemies were rent asunder,
As their keening death rattle sounded,
It was here that our Barrowchalx was founded,
By our Perfects, free of shame and odious blunder.
For ours everything, let the unperson die,
It was always our destiny to conquer the sky.

Members of the Formless species are permanently subject to the quickened condition and receives a +2 status bonus to one attack roll, Perception check, saving throw, or skill check once every ten minutes.

Masters of Shardshaping, none remember precisely the upper limits of what the Formless were capable of. Barrowchalx, the Capital of the Masquerade was long said to be a shard of their own creation.

Formidable in their own right, the Formless are exceptionally strong and fast in their home realm of Barrowchalx to an almost preternatural degree as if the world was truly made for them, reinforcing their surpremacist agendas.

Formless are denied their personhood upon losing their mask, losing the boons granted to them by this Fundament and are thus also punished by the magic coursing through their blood, causing them to become enfeebled 1, stupified 1, clumsy 1 and confused.

Formless who lose their masks become weakened and closer to death, those that remain in Barrowchalx lose control of their identity and ability to control their mercurial forms. As their bodies return to Formlessness their minds soon change shape shortly after.
