Astral Points, or AP, are a currency used for
Shardshaping. It represents an abstract amount of latent energy which is spent to evoke the supranatural powers of the Nebula. This fuel is found in many different forms such as volatile gasses, divine wellsprings, and sometimes solid tokens and effigies that can be transported.
Astral Points can be accumulated by exploring the Nebula, an adventurer might find a payload in an anchored area of the Aether, in a wizard's vault or while clearing a connection path. Typically it is a part of a treasure trove, and creatures do not carry tokens with them while wandering the wilds.
