Baba Yaga's Riders

Every century, in the year that precedes the Queen of Witches, Baba Yaga's return to Irrisen, three fey beasts astride sorcerous beasts descend on the land. They herald Baba Yaga's return. The specific fey chosen to be riders change every century, but there are always three.  

The White Rider

Called "My Bright Morning" by Baba Yaga, the White Rider only appears in the hours after sunrise, riding a sleek white destrier.

The Red Rider

"My Red Sun", the Red Rider sits upon a reddish-gold stallion. The Red Rider appears during daylight hours after noon.

The Black Rider

The third Rider appears only at night. Mounted on a fierce black warhorse, the Black Rider is called "My Dark Midnight".
