The Birth of King Conan "The Mythic"

King Conan the Mythic was said to have been born from the union between the God of War Chernos and a the most beautiful woman in Lobinny. It started long ago when from upon holy high the lord of the trinity of war; Chernos heard rumours of a most beautiful follower. The warrior know as Cerlene. Chernos upon gaining visage of the woman became smitten and decided to risk his power by manifesting himself into the world in order to meet her. Upon meeting Cerlene she proved a challenge to for the god of war to woo but eventually his charms worked and he managed to bed her. This would result in the conception of a child who would become King Conan. Due to the nature of his manifestation Chernos eventually had to leave the world not long after the birth to avoid losing more of his powers. As Chernos looked for Cerlene in order to tell her goodbye and reveal why he had to leave. Iolk a goddess of tricks and pranks decided to convince Chernos that due to her great beauty Cerlene would surely find another lover in his absence. and so to avoid this Chernos used the remainder of his power in the world to turn her into a Stoat. And with this last action built upon his envy, the god of war returned to the heavens.   Now a stoat and with a demigod baby to raise Cerlene put all her effort and energy into looking after young Conan. However her new form came with severe limitations and soon Cerlene became worn out and sick. With her ounce of energy she dragged her child towards the nearest village before passing out of exhaustion and dying there in the forest clearing next to her son, Not long after the baby Conan would be found by a young girl who would call her parents over. The family believing that the child had killed the stoat saw this as a sign of greatness and took the child in to raise him as their own, with them being the ones to give him the name of Conan.   Hearing the story of being found next to a dead stoat as he grew older inspired him to add the animal to his own personal coat of arms. In the future not long before becoming king of Lobinny would Conan learn the truth of his ancestry and be both angered and saddened by the circumstances of his creation.
