The Circle of the Jewelled Wing
The Circle of the Jewelled Wing was a group of druids in Mumblemack, who felt that Gemogha of the Graced Feathers had visited The Graced and led them to Mumblemack to empower them to protect and nuture the rare and endangered magical creatures that were often hunted or captured by groups wanting to sell them for ingredients for magical or alchemical creations. Only a few of their number were The Graced, but those who were developed close connections with a number of magical birds who began to visit them regularly, and who, in a very primitive way, intimiated knowledge of Gemhogha, and requested food and protection.
Even in Mumblemack, the circle maintained a close relationship with these birds, and often negotiated with the nesting birds of the cliffs for some of their eggs, in exchange for material for their nests. This helped the settlement of Mumblemack avoid angering the birds and have an easier and steady supply of food.
