Chapter 3c: Skills of the Common Man - Selfishness

“No, he’s too far gone,” Jerrod said, “and I want my scrap back!”   So Jerrod decided to teach the little robot a lesson. He tried to steal the robot’s teddy bear. Both he and the little robot tugged and pulled at the bear until it tore in half!   “What have you done?!” the little robot cried! “He was my only friend!”   Jerrod tried to apologize, but the little robot was too upset.   “Take your scrap and go away,” said the little robot, defeated and angry.   So they did. With scrap back in hand, they returned to the village. And from then on, he wouldn’t speak or budge from that spot on top of the tower.
