Nexus
The origin myth of the Arachnitha tells the story of Xi'pthara, who purportedly gave birth to their entire species and all denominations thereof.
This same myth also makes the claim that it was Xi'pthara who spun the first threads of the Nexus, the very heart of the Arachnithan under-empire.
In fact, a visit to the Nexus is required of the leaders of each Arachnithan denomination at least annually because the Lady of the Web demands each of these leaders to prove their capability to continue holding a position of power. This is usually achieved via making the leader in question complete one or more of the brood-trials used to train the Clutchguard.
For regular Arachnitha, a visit to the Nexus is akin to a pilgrimage, though without the spiritual connotation. The closest analogue for this could be considered how humans who live far from their parents will oftentimes resolve to visit them despite the distance.
There is a receiver, an agent of the Gossamer Dispatch that receives the incoming messages, for every inlet of the dispatch. These receivers bear the brunt of the absolutely overbearing amount of information that flows through the dispatch, though a vast amount of that load is also carried by the Lady of the Web herself, who also intercepts and interprets a portion of the vibrations that travel through the taut strands and responds where necessary.
The fact that she can still interact and even speak with those present on-site is a feat of stupendous concentration, as it is equivalent to a human engaging in and staying coherent in hundreds of different conversations at the same time.
After this, they race to the burrow-home nearest to the site of battle and emerge from all the numerous entrances en masse, a tidal wave of skittering legs and razor-sharp fangs. After seeing the Arachnitha on the warpath, few will wonder why the First Host was beaten back once the spider-people joined the fray.

Home of Homes
Even though the Arachnitha have spread to all corners of Nascindor, establishing countless burrow-homes underneath the soil, they all consider the Nexus to be their true home that they return to every once in a while, if only to pay their respects to the Lady of the Web.In fact, a visit to the Nexus is required of the leaders of each Arachnithan denomination at least annually because the Lady of the Web demands each of these leaders to prove their capability to continue holding a position of power. Crossroads
The Nexus is connected to all of the hundreds of burrow-homes that dot the underground cave systems of Nascindor via the Gossamer Dispatch, a colossal network of taut webbing that serves as a communication system between Arachnithan settlements. There is a receiver, an agent of the Gossamer Dispatch that receives the incoming messages, for every inlet of the dispatch. Mustering Ground
When the Arachnitha are forced to go to war, such as when the First Host strained the defensive capabilities of the Seeker fellowships and the Telothian Legion to their limits, the Clutchguard first gathers at the Nexus for a briefing and encouragement from the Lady of the Web.After this, they race to the burrow-home nearest to the site of battle and emerge from all the numerous entrances en masse, a tidal wave of skittering legs and razor-sharp fangs. After seeing the Arachnitha on the warpath, few will wonder why the First Host was beaten back once the spider-people joined the fray.
I can take you, but I should warn you.–A mountaineer to a traveler looking for the Nexus
There will be a LOT of spiders.
